Fantastic beachside location and excellent for family fun with plenty of sunbeds. Kids will love the shallow pool, while adults can relax by the sea.

Food temperature was a letdown, often served cold with picky dining practices. Noisy surroundings during busy periods detracted from the overall comfort.

Staying with my five kids was a blast! We loved the spacious family room and the easy access to the beautiful beach right in front of the hotel. The kids especially enjoyed the shallow pool, which helped them build confidence in swimming. Plus, the games room kept them entertained while we relaxed.

For dads, it would be great if the restaurant had more family-friendly dining options and quicker service during busy hours.

The amazing beachfront location is a standout feature, providing easy access to the sand and local amenities. The cleanliness throughout the hotel and the room impresses as the staff consistently maintain high standards. However, the furnishings appeared tired and could significantly benefit from renovations, and the dining options, while decent, could use more variety.

The location was absolutely perfect, right next to the beach with a lovely promenade for walks. The room was spacious and offered amazing views, making it a great place to unwind. The pool area was nice for relaxation, although the sunbeds could get quite crowded. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, despite some noise disturbances at night.

i just stayed at this hotel for four nights and was pleasantly surprised. the spacious comfort double room offered amazing views of the beach and was a great place to relax. my experience here was much better than my last stay in la cala de mijas.

The room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a spacious balcony for enjoying the sea view. The free toiletries and fresh towels were great amenities. The pool area was perfect for kids with a shallow end. There was a well-maintained spa for relaxation.

gran hotel costa del sol is right next to a lovely beach with beach beds and facilities available for guests. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. i really enjoyed the chill-out terrace and the great pool area, which is perfect for relaxing under the sun.

I had a wonderful week exploring La Cala while staying at Gran Hotel Costa Del Sol. The beachfront location and friendly staff. I was disappointed with the dinner quality. It occasionally fell short of expectations. A great stay!

It was just a good pick for shopping in La Cala De Mijas with fantastic value for money. The room had a great view of the beach and was a perfect spot to relax after a long day.

I had a wonderful stay and loved the stunning sea views from my room and the short walk to the beach where I could enjoy the beautiful coastal promenade. it was ideal for my weekend city strolls and exploring local eateries just a few steps from the hotel, like La Canasta and El Olivo de La Cala.

Had a fantastic time with friends at this spot! The game room was a hit and the air-conditioned restaurant was comfy. We also checked out Marbella Golf and Country Club for some fun activities. Do note the food quality could improve, but everything else was great!

The dining experience was a letdown. Some food items looked old and were not up to standard. It’s a shame because the place has potential.
